The Qatar International Court and Dispute Resolution Centre (“QICDRC”) hosted the 5th Meeting of the Standing International Forum of Commercial Courts (“SIFoCC”) from April 20 to 21 this year. At the meeting, representatives from more than 50 jurisdictions across the globe came together to share best practices for commercial courts. Discussions were focused on salient issues affecting commercial courts, including AI, climate change, ESG, and early dispute resolution.
The SIFoCC was created in 2017 to foster collaboration among international commercial courts, encourage the sharing of best practices, and supporting developing nations in building effective commercial courts.
