On May 7, 2019, Georgia’s Governor signed State-wide Business Court legislation into law. We have previously posted on the original bill, and the final version of the law passed by Georgia’s legislature in April 2019, summarized here. The new Business Court will be centered in Macon.
Per the new law, the Metro Atlanta Business Court, established in 2005, may continue as a distinct business court.
