On March 6, 2024, the Michigan Supreme Court issued an order (effective March 18, 2024) assigning the Honorable Matthew J. McGivney to serve as a business court judge in the 44th Circuit Court (Livingston County), for a term expiring April 1, 2025. Judge McGivney will replace Judge Michael P. Hatty, who is retiring.
